It’s my husband’s birthday! Over the past year Chris kept himself busy with several projects including leveling off our back yard and building a retaining wall so we could install a shed. It turned out great and he even included a flower box for me in the front! Looking forward to another fun year. I love you Chris, happy birthday!!

Drag Racing

Last weekend we went to Heartland Park in Topeka for some street legal drag racing. Here is Elyse waiting her turn to go down the strip. As you can see, she has commandeered my BMW S1000RR to use as her drag bike. As of now she lives her life a ¼ mile at the time.

The Road to Redmond

Most of you know that Cole moved to Washington a couple of months ago. He enlisted my help for his move. So, we loaded up his U-Haul and began our eight state adventure. We got to see frozen rivers, the Black Hills (we took a quick detour to see Mt. Rushmore), some awesome mountainous terrain, barely missed an avalanche in the middle of the night, drove through snow storms, and saw a west coast wind farm.
