Summer in Florida

Chita loves car rides! She gets so excited anytime she thinks she might get to go on one. With the nice weather we’ve had lately, she’s gotten to enjoy some car rides with the windows down. Look how funny her ears look when the wind catches them!

It’s my husband’s birthday! Over the past year Chris kept himself busy with several projects including leveling off our back yard and building a retaining wall so we could install a shed. Copper Mountain 2013

We went on a road trip to Colorado! After a 9 hr drive, we met my family at Copper Mountain. We got to go sledding and have snowball fights with our nephews! A few of us had some impressive wipeouts. Winter Storm Q

Early this morning Winter Storm Q came through Lawrence. We had been warned that there would be a heavy downfall of snow, and it started coming true at about 7am and continued through the morning.
