This past weekend we went to Bruce and Sharon’s house to go four-wheeling in the snow for the first time ever! It was very different; I kept getting stuck in the deep snow and Chris would have to push me out. It was very cold and my hands felt frozen! Bruce taught me a good trick though, to put on latex gloves under your other gloves, which will keep the cold air from getting to you when you’re driving fast.
After we rode around in the snowy yard for a while, we headed out back to their frozen-over pond. We used a drill to check if the ice was thick enough and then started having some fun! I wanted to run around like crazy on a frozen pond, which, as you’ll see, I did. Then we all took turns slipping and sliding on the icy pond on the four-wheeler. It was really funny having hardly any traction.
Afterward, we went inside to warm our toes by the fire and play some Wii bowling. Chris won! Check out everyone’s bowling form.
We saw a beautiful sunset in their backyard as we were leaving.
