Set ‘em Up Jack’s

Last night we met up with Mark and his fiance, Kerry, for dinner. Mark and I used to work together. I had heard lots of stories about Mark’s Honey, Kerry, at work but hadn’t met her before and Chris hadn’t met either of them. We had a great time hanging out and getting to know them;...

Memorial Day ’09

Yesterday our neighbors, Toby and Erica, invited us to a Memorial Day barbeque with their small group from church. Here we are hanging out at the house of one of the other couples in the small group. They usually rotate meeting at different couples’ houses on Monday nights and have a Bible study. After we...

Disc Golf in Lawrence

Sunday after church we couldn’t wait to get back to the disc golf course at Centennial Park for round two of our tournament. Chris’ first throw of the day ended straight up in the mud; see it in the background? We had a few more throws of the day that landed in the bushes, but I think...
