Mom and Dad came to visit us earlier this month. Dad had a new iPhone app for geocaching and the convinced us to give it a shot. So, we loaded up the truck and set off for our first destination. We had such a good time that we spent two whole days running all over town looking for these hidden capsules. Chita had a great time too. She found a baseball and brought it home to add to her toy collection. Oh yeah, mom and dad both got a scooter lesson.
It’s Elyse’s twenty-seventh birthday! It has been another great year for her. She did some big projects at work and still had time to do some snowboarding, wakeboarding, and motorcycle racing. I’m looking forward to seeing what she comes up with for this year!
Happy Birthday Sweetie, I love you.
We had a great time on our trip to Florida and got to see lots of family! We hung out on the lake, played some ping pong, swam in the pool, and made s’mores. This year Chris and Dad modified the firework set-up for a better launch angle over the lake. It was a great show! Thanks everybody for hanging out!
Just finished my fifth night of drag racing this year at Heartland Park! We’ve really been enjoying getting into this sport, learning more and more about the mechanics of maintaining an efficient machine (mostly Chris) and how to improve my technique. I have a long way to go, but with lots of help from Chris and advice from new friends, have been getting better every week. It is really great to get to chat with folks who have been racing bikes for years already and get their tips on how to improve. Half way through the season; looking forward to more fun!
We’re happy to be with friends and family in Florida for the 4th of July this year. We plan on putting the ‘American’ in Proud to be an American!
Chita loves car rides! She gets so excited anytime she thinks she might get to go on one. With the nice weather we’ve had lately, she’s gotten to enjoy some car rides with the windows down. Look how funny her ears look when the wind catches them!
Our friend, Jared, got a boxer named McKenna [seen below wearing brown] to play with his other boxer, Mia. We invited them over to play with Chita in the backyard today. Chita isn’t the biggest fan of the boxing duo but she eventually warmed up [a little]. We had a good time wearing the dogs out!
To whom it may concern, thanks for the birthday wishes. I appreciate the cards and all the kind words. I look forward to making it another year and I assume you look forward to knowing me then as well. I leave you with a picture of the spoils…
